 SGHA Hypotheses ~ Research Projects

Can Dowsing Rods located paranormal activity associated with ghostly phenomena?

It has been suggested that dowsing rods can be used to detect paranormal activity associated with ghostly phenomena. This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001.

Can Pendulums can be used to detect (or communicate with) ghostly phenomena?

It has been suggested that dowsing rods can be used to detect paranormal activity associated with ghostly phenomena. This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001.

Electrical Sensitivity and the perception of ghosts

It has been suggested that low frequency electromagnetic fields may induce neurological effects that could explain many of the "experiences" that people have witnessed in haunted locations.

This article presents the preliminary data on electromagnetic field tests using a square wave generator to evaluate the EMF sensitivity of people who have had paranormal experiences under environmentally controlled and monitored conditions.

The repeating behavior of paranormal phenomena at haunted locations

A multiphase study was performed at four research sites to determine the probabilities of repeating behavior and sentience of ghost like phenomena. The study was conducted over a eight year time span at four "haunted" locations.

Paranormal activity and High Frequency EM Radiation 300MHz - 40GHz

Many hypotheses have been put forth that suggests that high frequency EM radiation may be somehow associated with ghostly phenomena.

This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001.

(1992 to 1997)

A/C Electromagnetic fields & Paranormal activity

Many hypotheses have been put forth that suggests that A/C Electromagnetic Fields may be somehow associated with perceived ghostly phenomena. The hypotheses suggest that A/C EMF may cause hallucinations in the human brain which are misinterpreted as paranormal phenomena. This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001.

(1995 to 2002)

Gamma Radiation and ghostly phenomena

Many hypotheses have been put forth that suggests that gamma radiation may be somehow associated with ghostly phenomena.

This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001.

(1987 to 1991)

D/C Electromagnetic fields & Paranormal Activity

Are D/C electromagnetic fields are associated with ghostly phenomena and some paranormal activity? The hypotheses suggest that A/C EMF may cause hallucinations in the human brain which are misinterpreted as paranormal phenomena or possibly coming from an unknown (paranormal) source.

This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001.

(2000 to 2006)

Cold Spots and Paranormal Activity

It has been implied that cold spots are related to paranormal events (such as being in the presence of a ghost or a ghost is manifesting).

This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001.

Visual Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC) and ghostly phenomena

The phosphor dust that coats the inside of the screens is charged by streams of electrons and holds the image long enough for our eyes to process and interpret the image. Perhaps, the phosphor also captures spectral energies and due to the phosphors properties converts that energy into a visual image.

Infrasound and Paranormal Experience

.Infrasound is sound with a frequency too low to be heard by the human ear. The study of such sound waves is sometimes referred to as infrasonics, covering sounds beneath the lowest limits of human hearing (20 hertz) down to 0.001 hertz. It has been suggested that low frequency Infrasound may induce neurological effects that could explain many of the "experiences" that people have witnessed in haunted locations, particularly the feeling of being watched (sensed presence).

This article presents the preliminary data on infrasound tests under environmentally controlled and monitored conditions, using two known sound samples (19Hz and a 3 and 9Hz mix) played discreetly over a high quality sound system placed in an adjoined room

Ions and their effects on haunted environments

In one of our present hypotheses, ghosts affect their environment through electromagnetic pulses. Tests were performed at "haunted" and "non haunted" locations to establish a control. Tests conducted at "haunted" locations showed an increase of unusual electromagnetic activity during the positive ion test. Negative ion tests often resulted in a decrease of EM phenomena. No noticeable change was recorded at "non haunted" locations.

This paper presents preliminary data on the effects of ions in 'haunted" locations under environmentally controlled and monitored conditions
