Abstract This multiphase study was performed to find if D/C (Direct Current) electromagnetic fields are associated with ghostly phenomena. Null Hypothesis: D/C electromagnetic fields are associated with ghostly phenomena. Alternative Hypothesis: D/C electromagnetic fields are associated with ghostly phenomena or Ghosts do not exist. Introduction Are D/C electromagnetic fields are associated with ghostly phenomena and some paranormal activity? This article presents the collected data from from test sites and environmentally controlled and monitored conditions in accordance with SGHA Method 001. (Click here to read more about this method). Materials and Methods This study was carried out using SGHA Method 001, a double blind study which compares data that is collected in "haunted" and "non-haunted" (controlled) environments. Researchers were trained to use gauss meters and the Trifield Natural EM meter. The meters were used in a total of 50 ghost hunts, 25 in Test sites, 25 in Control Sites. A measured response was indicated by measurements above 3 nanotesla if a known source could not be identified. The test was initiated in February 2000 and concluded in April of 2006. The data collected was analyzed by standard deviation and a two sample (paired) T-Test.
Results Repeated Measures Analysis Summary Means and standard deviations for 2 repeated measures: 1)POSITIVE: mean = 6.24 s.d. = 2.83255 Mean Difference = 4.52 s.d.(difference) = 3.20312 95% C.I. about Mean Difference is (3.19711, 5.84289) Paired t-test Ho: The mean difference between pairs is 0. There is evidence that the mean difference (M=4.52, SD =3.20312, N= 25) Based on the data obtained during the testing period, the null hypothesis is accepted. Submitted to Research for further investigation and research beyond Method 1 parameters. |
