SGHA Research ~ Photograph analysis ~ Cochise County Courthouse photos

A digital image can be treated as a data set to extract information. This is the information that we extracted from a digital photograph taken during a investigation at the Jerome Mining Museum.

A digital image can be treated as a data set to extract information. Each pixel's intensity value is a measure of how much energy was used to generate it within the band of spectrum used to produce the image.

This is an analysis of eleven photographs taken in sequence at the Cochise County Courthouse.

Replication attempt

Image Analysis

An image analysis was run on this series of photographs to determine if the mist like object was reflected light from the camera or something else after attempts to replicate it failed.

The frequencies of light in the object are not consistent. Different frequencies appear, disappear and move about the structure. This is not consistent with a standard light source which has defined spectral properties.

The object itself changes size, shape and density, traits that are also not consistent with a standard light source.

The cause or composition of the object is currently unknown.

Programs used for analysis: Scanalyze, Analyze 7.0
