The Bisbee Grand Hotel is an
elegant and romantic step back to the turn of the century. Each
room is individually appointed with antiques and family heirlooms.
Constructed in 1906, the hotel originally
housed traveling mining executives. In 1986 the entire hotel was
renovated and restored in an Old West Victorian style. The hotel
closed in 1987 and was re-opened in 1989.
Bill Thomas, in Bisbee on a two day visit,
toured the closed hotel for fun and fell in love with it enough
to exchange twenty years of banking and tennis coaching for the
opportunity to own and operate this landmark.
Each room has its own distinctive style
and ambiance. For guests desiring romance and roominess, the hotel
offers several unique suites with separate sitting rooms and private
baths. |
